Pastor's Message

If you did not notice yet, our church is in the middle of a huge change.  We are turning the page and starting a new chapter in the life of Sixes Presbyterian Church. 

In this new chapter, the Mission of the Church will be the main focus of our Church. For a long time, we operated in survival mode.  Questions and doubts about the life of the Church and if the Church would be able to bounce back were raised in the hearts and minds of many people.

Those questions have been answered.  The Church is still here, people are coming back, and visitors are attending our services.  A new set of activities for the fall is in place, involving children, youth, men and women.  And on top of that, our building is going up.  We believe that by the beginning of November we will be worshiping in our new facility.

But, the most important change that we are proposing is in the structure of the church.  We are moving to a model that emphasizes the mission and ministry of the Church.  In this way, we will have four main ministries, and the graphic below can help us to understand them.

Please get acquainted with these terms and names.  We will use them and talk about them in the coming months.

Aren’t you happy that Sixes is back in the business of the Kingdom of God?  Aren’t you happy that you are part of it?
